IELTS Academic – Syllabus / Exam Pattern
The IELTS Academic Test assesses your English in four skill areas, namely, the Listening and Speaking, Reading and Writing.

Important Note
- The Listening, Reading, and Writing sections are all done in one continuous session (no breaks in between).
- The Speaking test may be scheduled on the same day or up to 7 days before/after the other tests depending on the test center arrangements.
- Total test time (excluding the 10 minutes transfer time in listening) is 2 hours 45 minutes.
